YWPEU-2026 offers an exciting opportunity for emerging leaders in the water sector to network, share knowledge, and collaborate on innovative solutions for current and future water challenges in a vibrant, inspirational endeavor. Held in Italy’s hub of innovation and creativity, the event aims at gathering YWPs from various fields— engineering, policy, research, and sustainability—providing a platform for them to showcase their work and research, engage in insightful discussions, workshops, and engaging technical sessions.
Participants will have the chance to meet the current and future leaders of the European water sector, explore Milan's area water management practices and research facilities, and most of all, create lasting connections with colleagues from all over Europe, all while contributing to the advancement of sustainable water solutions worldwide.

A team of 8-10 YWPIT members active in the Milan area/Italy, with the support of the current YWPIT Steering Committee.

An international team of international EU-based team of 10-12 YWPs from different EU countries.
Scientific Committee
A Scientific committee, composed by European YWPs and senior experts on conference topics, will be selected by the program committee. A call for scientific committee members will be opened following the call for abstracts.
